What is the Christmas Campaign?
This year, Richardson Healthcare is supporting the Young Barnet Foundation’s Christmas Campaign Toy Drive.
According to the latest Child Poverty Action Group figures, 3.9 million children live in poverty in the UK. This figure represents a staggering 27% of all children or 8 in a classroom of 30. The aftermath of the pandemic and the escalating cost-of-living crisis is predicted to massively increase the challenges that struggling families already face.
Christmas can be a stressful time for millions of families. Sometimes buying gifts for children means compromising on basic necessities.
Since the launch of the campaign in 2018, the toy drive has distributed over 7,000 gifts to disadvantaged youth living in Barnet.
This Christmas campaign is a fantastic opportunity to help provide presents for children and young people who may not otherwise receive a gift this Christmas.
