No leaflets? This year, we have gone paperless to fulfil one of our key sustainability objectives: reducing our annual waste by 5% each year.
What are our waste reduction objectives?
We are conscious of the impact that our actions can have on the planet and the knock-on effect that this can have on public health. As a PAS 2060 certified company, we are dedicated to improving our environmental impact each year until we reach net zero. One of the main areas we are tackling is waste – our role in producing it, delivering it and disposing of it.
We initiated our paper-free efforts by successfully digitising most of our day-to-day company operations. This year, we have stepped up our waste-reduction efforts by launching our paperless marketing campaign at shows and exhibitions.
Why have we gone paperless?
Saves trees:
Protecting local and international ecosystems is a core tenet of our company. By going paperless at exhibitions, we are not only reducing the number of trees cut down, but we are also doing our bit to protect local wildlife and their natural habitats.
Reduce our carbon footprint:
Eliminating leaflets reduces production emissions during the sourcing, manufacturing, printing and delivery stages. Less leaflets at shows not only means less waste, but also cleaner air for all.
Prevent avoidable waste:
We know that exhibition attendees are inundated with leaflets that often end up going straight to landfills. By going paperless, we hope to play a small role in tackling throw-away culture.
Improve engagement:
By offering digital resources, attendees can communicate directly with our dedicated team when they chose and how they choose. This digital approach allows us to provide a more personalised experience in real-time, which improves our overall delivery of services.
